Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection, not in books alone but in every leaf in springtime.

Story Writing
***Important Information about Your Personal Narrative
When we meet on Friday May 11, remember to have the final draft of your personal narrative ready for review by your peers and by me. Once your draft has been reviewed, you will make the changes and hand in the final “published” version on May 18. This assignment is a large part of your grade, and we don’t have many classes left, so please make the deadlines.
Writer’s Notebook
Please remember to do your Writer’s Notebook assignments and free-writes when assigned. You should also be doing free-write entries in your Writer’s Notebook as often as possible. The more you write, the better writer you will become.
This website is for students in the 7th Grade Poetry elective and their parents. Please check this website regularly to find useful information related our class. Here you will find homework assignments, due dates, descriptions of class projects, and much more. You will also want to check out the helpful tips and information related to what we are working on in class–for example, graphic organizers, suggestions for “spicing up your language,” brainstorming and prewriting ideas, and more.
Click on the appropriate link under “Pages” at the right to access the information you need, and remember, check back often because the information is updated regularly. For now, you can click on the Introduction link on the right side of this website to learn more about me and about this class.
