USED BOOK EXCHANGE

USED BOOK EXCHANGE & SALE

The Library will sponsor a Used Book Exchange on Thursday, June 7th from 9AM until 2PM in the FSCR.  Hundreds of books will be available for sale or exchenge to students, staff and parents to encourage summer reading.  Books will be taken in for exchange beginning Monday, June 4 (details to follow).  A raffle will be held and prizes will include the posters from the Jonathan Rand Author Visit and autographed books by Mr. Rand.  Mark your calendar and plan to attend!  Coordinators are Jean Hillman, Anasie Yazbec & Mary Grobbel.  Go readers!

LIBRARY CLOSURE

The Library doors will be officially closed as of May 11, 2012.  Our library collection will be evaluated, packed and prepared for renovation.  In the Fall, we will have a renovated, updated Media Centre to acoommodate our new Academy as well as continue to serve our elementary students.  Be prepared to be amazed!  Library Skills classes will continue until the end of May within the classrooms.  All Library materials borrowed by students will be due back to the library bin by May 18, 2012.

SPRING BOOK FAIR COMING IN APRIL

Time to save the date for the Spring Scholastic Book Fair!  The Fair will arrive the week of April 20 and be set up on the weekend.  Previews for grades JK-6 will be held on Monday, April 23.  Sales will begin on Tuesday, April 24.  The final day will be a parish event held on Sunday, April 29 from 9 – 12noon.  Get excited and think SUMMER READING!
