About Computer Class:
Students in Grades 1-8 receive an academic and conduct grade each quarter. Academic Grades are based on participation and projects. Students are given a participation grade for each classroom session. The participation grade is based on whether or not the student listened in class, followed directions, and completed assigned tasks. All projects are reviewed and graded. Conduct grades are based on teacher observation. I ask myself the following questions. Is the student a good listener? Do they follow directions given? Do they follow the rules I have set?
Typically all assignments and projects are based on topics studied in academic classes. All projects align with the National Technology Standards. Many different programs are used in class.
